North Region Plan Change Requests

Plan Change Requests

The North Region EMS & Trauma System Plan is a working document and can be updated at any time during the Plan cycle.  The process includes:

1.       Formal written development of Plan Change Requests, to include a table of the current Plan language along side the proposed language.  A written justification is included for each Plan Change Request.

2.       Approval provided by a majority vote of Regional Council membership during a meeting or via email vote.

3.       20-day recognized posting of Plan Change document on the North Region website, available for review and comments.

4.       Final approval by the State Department of Health and/or the Governor’s Steering Committee, depending if the Plan Change Request is minor or major.  Verbiage changes in goals, objectives and strategies are considered minor.  Patient Care Procedures, Verification and Designation are considered major changes.
